TDC BASS DI

This is a TDC DI (Direct Injection) unit.

In addition to its DI function, it can also add overdrive.
This is an older model, and its sound and overdrive characteristics differ from the current model.
It allows you to create a vintage sound reminiscent of an old tube amp being overdriven, and the sound within your in-ear monitors becomes warm, as if it passed through an amp, making it very easy and enjoyable to play with.

You can use the overdrive channel for distortion, of course.
If you set the overdrive channel's volume to 0, it will mute, allowing you to tune with a tuner connected to the PARA OUT.
Removing the tuner from the signal chain can also help prevent signal degradation.

When performing in live venues,
the DI provided by the venue can significantly alter the line sound.
By bringing your own DI, you can send the line sound you've carefully crafted directly to the mixing desk and out to the audience.
Furthermore, its ability to add overdrive and mute makes it extremely convenient.

It does not have phantom power.
Please use it with a power adapter or batteries.

TDC DIs come with a built-in low-cut feature from the start.
I haven't modified this either, so it should still have the low-cut specification.
The slightly thin sound often mentioned in reviews might be resolved by disabling the low-cut feature.

There are scratches and dirt, but the operation is completely fine.
