*This is a stretch haragake made with 3% polyurethane. It offers better stretch, easier movement, and simpler on/off compared to 100% cotton versions.

*It is considered stylish to wear a haragake that fits snugly. The neck opening should be just large enough for about two fingers, and it's common practice to ensure the shirt underneath is not visible from the neck.

*Haragake are traditionally worn as festival attire, paired with a Koikuchi shirt, Momohiki pants, and Jika-tabi split-toe socks. They are also used in various other ways, such as for rickshaw drivers, as uniforms for izakaya (Japanese pubs), and for taiko drumming performances.

*While it uses stretchable fabric, the difference in ease of movement is only slight compared to cotton versions.

*Machine washable.
