Ibanez SWX 100 SOUND WAVE 100W

Ibanez SWX 100

Purchased as a used item from a musical instrument store.

I originally tried this amp out at a music store a few years ago when testing a bass. It has a 15-inch speaker, and in my personal opinion, I preferred its low and high frequencies over 10 or 12-inch speakers. It also has features like a bright switch on the front and a DI output, allowing for connection to an audio interface using an XLR cable. For an amp of this era, I believe it's quite feature-rich. The casters also make it convenient for moving around.

At the time, I inquired with the store about purchasing it, but we couldn't reach an agreement and I gave up.

Later, I searched extensively, and while amps under 100W occasionally appeared on auctions, this 100W model was coincidentally put up for sale used by the same music store a few years later, so I bought it immediately. I believe this amp rarely comes up for sale.

I am currently still using it, but I am selling it to fund new equipment purchases.

This amp is approaching vintage status, and there is some crackling in the volume and master controls. It disappears after a few turns, but reappears when used again. However, there are no other issues, so I've been using it with that in mind.

The exterior has no major noticeable scratches, but there is some age-related wear.

Please judge the condition from the photos.

Given its condition, this is for those who understand vintage amplifiers.

Shipping will be 180 size, approximately 20kg. It should be fine with Mercari shipping, but if you are in the Nagoya vicinity, I can deliver it for this price. I am also willing to offer a discount on the shipping cost for local pickup.

I am open to other discussions as well.

Thank you for looking.
