Mechanical Highlights: Tested & Functional: The focus ring turns smoothly across the entire range. Snappy Aperture: The aperture blades are clean, oil-free, and snap shut instantly when the pin is engaged. Mount Condition: The Petri breech-lock mount is in excellent shape with no bends or deep gouges. Optical Condition (Please Read): Clarity: This lens has been kept in its original state. There is no major haze or fungus present. Internal Dust: As seen in the high-detail and flashlight photos, there is a moderate amount of internal dust and small inclusions/specks behind the glass elements. Performance: These specks are typical for vintage glass and do not typically affect image quality, but are mentioned for 100% transparency. This lens is an incredible candidate for mirrorless digital shooters (Sony E, Fuji X, Micro 4/3) using a Petri adapter. It provides that classic vintage bokeh that modern lenses can't replicate.
