Riverhead Status Copy Base
299.00 $
Description
This is a Riverhead bass, known for its meticulous craftsmanship, weighing 3.8kg.
It's a rare Status copy. The overall finish is very high, and it produces a great sound.
This was released by Deviser, the same company that makes Momose and Bacchus, during the era when headless guitars were popular.
There are filled holes on the body and neck, reportedly from the previous owner experimenting with strap pin placement. The tone is bright with deep low-end. The frets are at 70% wear, and while there is some tarnishing due to age, the neck has no warp or twist.
There is some crackling in the pots, which has been temporarily addressed with contact cleaner.
This listing is for the body only.
