*RARE* Vendome Chimera Ouroboros Gold-Plated Hoop Clip On Earrings

Launched in the late 1940’s as a high-end subsidiary of Coro, Vendome focused on upscale costume jewelry utilizing heavy gold plating and premium crystals. These earrings feature an extremely rare design showcasing a highly detailed mythical beast or chimera motif biting down on the top of a smooth, polished hoop. A chimera is a fire-breathing monster, while the ouroboros represents the endless cycle of life and death. Artists and sculptors often merge them to symbolize the perpetual evolution of nature. The earrings utilize the company's signature high-utility screw-back/clip-on mechanism, which allows the wearer to clip the earring onto the earlobe and then turn the screw tensioner for a custom, secure fit.
