This item was received as a souvenir from Guilin, China, a long time ago and has been stored away.
It is a wooden fan with intricate and beautiful openwork carving.
It has a fragrance like sandalwood or a similar spice.
One side features a panda pattern, and the other side depicts a landscape of Guilin.
There is some ink on the panda side, but it appears to be from the landscape painting rather than a stain.
There is some paint peeling on the beads.
Also, there is a crack in one spot.
I have a total of 6 identical fans, which I am also listing.
There are slight differences in the handmade quality, such as variations in string color, ink density, and wood color.
I am also listing 2 fans with floral patterns.
