VINTAGE FARRINGTON HAND PAINTED CERAMIC TOP JEWELRY TRINKET BOX MADE IN JAPAN

Vintage circa 1950’s hand painted top small jewelry box. Hinged ceramic lid painted rabbit and mouse in a wooden wagon being pulled by a turtle with a balloon, flowers and butterflies. Brass base with silver plating and a floral pattern around it as well as on the bottom. The inside has a turquoise color liner with a little padding at the bottom for precious trinkets. Liner has a small tear and the silver plating is worn in a few places but otherwise good condition for it’s age. Really cute and would be great to give for a gift with maybe a little surprise inside or by itself as a keepsake to hand down through generations!
