Special Framed Folding Fan and 1 Photograph
On November 22, 2006 (Heisei 18),
at the Akasaka Prince Hotel in Tokyo,
a special framed folding fan was presented
to celebrate the inauguration of Shinzo Abe as the 90th Prime Minister.
A photograph of Prime Minister Abe was taken backstage before the event,
with a screen featuring Beautiful Country Japan handwritten by calligrapher Mr. Sekijo Kaneda as the backdrop.

The surface of the folding fan features 桃李不言 下自成蹊 (Peaches and plums do not speak, yet a path is formed beneath them), handwritten by calligrapher Mr. Sekijo Kaneda.
The folding fan is from Miyawaki Baisenan in Kyoto, founded in Bunsei 6 (1823), boasting 183 years of history at the time. This fan was then specially framed by calligrapher Mr. Sekijo Kaneda.
