Vintage 1950s–60s Misanase West Germany White Leather Opera Gloves

An exceptionally elegant pair of vintage Misanase long white leather evening gloves, made in West Germany and beautifully finished with a 100% real silk lining.  These dramatic gloves feature an elongated opera-length silhouette, extending well beyond the wrist for the polished formal look synonymous with mid-century evening and occasion dressing.  The exterior is made from an exceptionally soft, thin and supple genuine leather with a delicate natural grain. Its remarkably soft hand and fine texture are consistent with luxury glove leathers such as lambskin or kid, although the exact hide is not specified on the surviving manufacturer’s label and is therefore not represented as confirmed.
