Estate find. Found in a drawer. Not human hair. Fake hair (like doll hair) or possibly horsehair. * At first we guessed it dated from the 60s, but suspect it's older than that, based on the old fashioned celluloid plastic. * Composed of a metal clip of bent wire, tempered to fit over a ball with spring tension. This is affixed to the underside of a plastic-type celluloid curved bar about .5 to .75 in thick. Atop of the bar is attached a braid of hair. It covers the top of the bar. * Condition: the plastic and metal are in good shape. The faux hair is fraying or loosening just a bit on one end. See photos. WE QUICKLY RESPOND TO ALL OFFERS.
