Description
Vintage Spode Trade Winds fine stone dinner plate featuring Ship George of Salem. The color is light blue, trimmed in gold, 8 in diameter. The center motif is a tall ship, the Ship George of Salem, built in 1814, adapted from the original circa 1804. I purchased this plate while visiting the island of Barbados nearly fifty years ago.it is in pristine condition, without chips, cracks, or crazing. I always displayed this on the wall, hung among like nautical plates.
