Vintage Hand Carved Wood Duck Decoy Pair Drake Hen Hand Painted Folk Art

Beautiful pair of vintage hand-carved and hand-painted wooden duck decoys, offered together as a matched decorative set. The pair depicts a colorful wood duck drake and hen. The male features the unmistakable dramatic wood duck coloration with a green and blue head, red breast, cream-colored sides and red bill. The hen is finished in warm brown tones with an orange bill and blue wing accents. Both birds feature detailed hand-painted feather decoration, carved wooden bodies and inset glass-style eyes. The underside of each has an unfinished recessed area showing the natural wood construction. Neither decoy is signed or dated, so no specific maker attribution is being made. They were acquired together and are being offered together as found. Condition is very good vintage condition overall with scattered surface wear, small marks and paint wear consistent with age and display. The undersides show additional wear and exposed wood as photographed. Please review all photos closely for exact condition. These display exceptionally well as a pair and would be excellent additions to a collection of vintage duck decoys, sporting art, American folk art, hunting décor, cabin/lodge décor or hand-carved wildlife art. Includes both decoys shown. Sold as a pair. See photos for condition and measurements. Ships next day, excluding Sundays.
