This is a magnificent antique black tomesode, featuring a splendid phoenix beautifully rendered with exquisite gold leaf and gold thread embroidery.

I have collected many elaborate black tomesode over time, but I am parting with them as I have too many.

There is a slight faintness around the collar, but it is not noticeable as it is folded with the wide collar.
There is yellowing on the lining.
There may be other faint stains and odors typical of old items. For those who understand antiques.
