Department 56 Original Snow Village SANTA COMES TO TOWN 1996 #54862 retired Starting in 1995 SANTA COMES TO TOWN every year with a new figurine, COLLECT THEM ALL! Introduced December 1995 Retired December 1996 Original Price $32.50 I am not a reseller — just part of the clean-up crew! In the 1980s and '90s, my relatives were avid Department 56 collectors. These little accessories were well-loved and displayed for long periods of time (unless otherwise noted) —most have a bit of dust and could use a toothbrush scrub down. When displayed, it was in a grandpa-crafted, enclosed wooden curio cabinet in an adult-only home. Each piece comes with its original box (most boxes show signs of long-term attic negotiations), and everything you see in the photos is included. Thanks so much for giving these treasures a new home — my grandma and aunt would be so tickled someone else is getting to enjoy these pieces of art.
