Description
This is a modified YAMAHA DTX kick pad KP120.
The internal components have been removed and the head has been equipped with a Hydraulic Blue.
The original included legs were two legs on each side, for a total of four legs. However, for portability, the legs have been changed to one leg on each side, for a total of two legs.
The legs and pedal attachment are stored inside, and the back cover is used as a lid. There are no fasteners for the lid, so it simply fits over the top.
As it is a 12-inch single-head pad, the volume and sustain are modest, but it is perfectly adequate for acoustic ensembles or practice indoors.
Please be mindful of your force when playing, as any tuning will result in a thudding collapsed sound when stomped hard in a closed position.
