Description
Vintage lightweight apparel fabric with a delicate scattered leaf/bud print on a charcoal-black ground. Tiny botanical motifs in turquoise/aqua, blue, lavender and muted bronze-gold are scattered across the dark background, giving the fabric a subtle jewel-tone effect. Fabric has a cool, smooth hand with beautiful fluid drape. It is lightweight and finely woven, making it especially suitable for garments requiring movement and flow. Exact fiber content is unknown; likely a vintage manufactured fiber or blend. Measures approximately 5 yards x 50” wide — an excellent amount of usable vintage yardage. Estimated late 1960s–1970s, likely early/mid-1970s, based on the print, width and fabric characteristics.
