Antique Sterling Silver Enamel Maple Leaf Brooch - Fall Autumn - Vintage Pin

Beautiful early vintage sterling silver maple leaf brooch featuring richly colored enamel in the shades of autumn.   Fiery red and orange transition through golden yellow into deep leafy green, with dark veining defining the wonderfully detailed maple leaf design. The mottled enamel gives the piece an especially organic, almost painterly appearance.  Stamped STERLING on the reverse and constructed with an early-style long pin stem and simple C-style catch.   Approximately 1” long.   Based on the construction and findings, this appears to be an early 20th-century piece, although the exact date and maker are unknown.  A petite and exceptionally pretty piece of wearable fall jewelry—beautiful on a jacket lapel, sweater, scarf or coat. Vintage patina and age-appropriate wear are present; please see photographs for condition.
