Enesco Cat Vintage Blue‎ White Spongeware Ceramic Figurine 9 Inch Folk Art

Vintage ceramic Enesco cat figurine features a striking blue and white sponge-ware or spatter-ware pattern with a glossy glazed finish. Standing 9 tall, this stylized feline sits in an upright, attentive pose with hand-painted facial details including whiskers and dark, expressive eyes. The ears are accented in a solid dark navy or black, providing a sharp contrast to the mottled body. A charming piece of mid-century inspired Folk Art decor, it retains parts of its original foil label on the base, indicating it was designed for ENESCO and made in Taiwan. The tips of both ears have what appears to be small firing flaws in the coloring, but are not chipped Brand: Enesco Material: Ceramic Color: Blue, White, Black Pattern: Spatter, Sponge Finish: Glossy Style: Mid-Century Modern, Eclectic, Folk Art Subject: Cat Origin: Taiwan Era: Vintage Mounting: Tabletop Measurements: • Height: 8 Keywords: Spatterware, Feline, Statuette, Kitsch, Grandmillennial, Chinoiserie, Blue Willow Style, Shelf Decor, Animal Lover, Collectible, MCM, Porcelain, Hand Painted
