1960's‎ Oyster Nylon Silky Feel Crib Comforter Blanket Quilt Embroidery & Lace

Vintage 1950's-60's Nylon Shell Silky Touch Baby Infant Child Comforter Crib or Pram Quilt - 45 x 36  Little ones love silkie feel blankets! This one is a lightweight quilt with spot quilting construction. In the center there is a quilted outline of a bow.  It is what I call oyster white, not stark white, nor cream.  In some lighting conditions it appears the over-embroidered flowers have a faint touch of pale yellow or pink.  The exterior is nylon.... smooth, cool, silky like parachute stuffed animals. One side has over-embroidered broadcast flowers.  All around the perimeter is a pretty semi-sheer lace that also features an over-embroidered pattern.  There are a few broken threads in the quilting, and I found 3 tiny pinholes (see photo) that are small enough to embroider or satin stitch over. So not perfect, but quite nice for the age and perfectly usable.  Use as intended, or as a display blanket for MCM era baby dolls.  Is 45 x 36 with a lightweight fluffy fill.
