Description
Vintage British Copper Lidded Tankard 6” Such a beautiful old-world copper piece! This vintage British-made copper tankard features a classic cylindrical shape, hinged domed lid, curved handle and a lovely brass thumb lift. The warm copper finish has wonderful age, surface wear and patina that only add to its character. Bottom is stamped “59 BRITISH MAKE” along with additional maker/production marks. Approximately 6” tall. Vintage condition with age-related scratches, tarnish, patina and interior wear as pictured. I have not polished it heavily because the aged finish is part of its charm. Wonderful displayed with antique copper, brass, English pottery or blue & white pieces. 81326.HC.RR
