Vintage Marigold Dairy Milkman Flocked Santa Milk Die Cut Christmas Card 1940s
Marigold Quality Chekd Dairy
30.00 $
Description
This is a charming vintage Christmas greeting card that would go over a milk bottle featuring Santa Claus enjoying a glass of milk with a friendly bear cub. The card is a die-cut design, advertising Marigold Quality Chekd Dairy and 'your Milkman'. It features beautiful flocking details on Santa's suit, the bear, and the bows, adding a wonderful tactile element. The back shows 'Made in U.S.A.'. There is a handwritten inscription 'from Bob Anderson's family' on the front, adding to its nostalgic appeal. This card shows typical vintage wear including some creasing, minor edge wear, and a small tear on the top right edge as visible in the photos. It's a delightful piece of holiday ephemera, perfect for collectors of vintage Christmas items, advertising, or dairy memorabilia. A rare survivor!
