Vintage Jean Greenhowe Sam Scarecrow Hand Knit Doll 13.5" Folk Art

Charming vintage handmade knitted scarecrow doll based on the Jean Greenhowe Sam Scarecrow design.  Wonderfully detailed with a bright turquoise hat, green jacket, striped pants, shaggy yellow yarn hair, embroidered face, flower, belt and colorful clothing. The whimsical details really make this piece, including a tiny gray mouse perched on his hat, a little robin on his shoulder and a ladybug on his shoe.  A fantastic piece of vintage textile folk art and especially fun for fall, harvest or Halloween decorating.
