Antique German Shaving Mug Pink Lusterware 3D Fruit Gold Souvenir Ithaca NY

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible antique Victorian shaving mug made in Germany. This piece features a striking iridescent pink lusterware finish accented by dark blue panels and heavily gilded gold detailing. The front features a highly detailed, embossed 3D relief of raised fruit/nut medallions hanging from gold vines. The side of the mug is scripted with Souvenir of Ithaca NY in gold, making it a wonderful piece of New York history. The bottom is stamped with the Germany export mark.  Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or hairlines. The porcelain is structurally perfect. There is only minor, expected shelf wear on the unglazed bottom rim and light vintage thinning to the gold gilding, which is typical for its age and adds to its authentic antique charm.
