Antique South of France Provençal Bobbin Lace Linen Trim with Beautiful Floral Pattern

A charming piece of French antique.
This beautiful table/tray cloth features an antique floral fabric edged with linen bobbin lace.

The base is a slightly pinkish ivory, adorned with a lovely flower bouquet pattern in cute yet chic colors such as red, pink, orange, yellow, turquoise blue, and khaki brown. Upon closer inspection, the base color subtly blends with beige and other hues, creating a hazy effect.

The square frame is crafted from beautifully hand-knitted bobbin lace, resembling a pattern of hemp leaves and sunflowers, and is attached to the main fabric with ladder lace embroidery. The lace itself has a gentle ivory color, with hints of pink and yellow, exuding an elegant and natural feel.

The floral fabric is of medium thickness, with a smooth, supple, yet firm texture. It feels like a cotton and linen blend, practical for everyday use without being too thin or too thick.

The linen lace is surprisingly crisp and has a dry, smooth feel.
