This is a fan-shaped or asymmetrical cluster cocktail ring. It features a sweeping row of white marquise-cut faux opals (simulated cabochons) next to a glittering arch of clear rhinestones set in a gold-finished band. This was made between the 1950s and the 1970s by Uncas Manufacturing Company. This piece is classic, high-quality vintage costume jewelry. The base is typical gold-electroplated metal, and the settings are carefully prong-set rather than glued, helping it to hold up nicely over the decades.
