Rare VTG MCM Diamond Cut Glass Apothecary Jar Hollywood Regency Gold Pedestal

Beautiful vintage diamond-point crystal/glass covered jar mounted on an ornate gold-tone ormolu-style base.  This striking piece features a tall cylindrical body covered in exceptionally crisp raised/faceted diamond points, a fitted lid with a large faceted ball finial, and an elaborate gold-tone base formed in a dimensional leaf/scroll design.  The combination of sparkling clear glass and ornate gold-tone metal gives the piece a wonderful Hollywood Regency / traditional luxury appearance. It would make a beautiful vanity jar, candy or trinket jar, powder-room accessory, or decorative display piece.
