Beautiful vintage Korean jewelry box featuring traditional Najeon Chilgi-style mother-of-pearl inlay on glossy black lacquer. The lid depicts iridescent flying cranes surrounded by flowers and foliage, with the shell displaying beautiful pink, blue, green and lavender tones in different lighting. Features a decorative silver-tone butterfly clasp, ornate hinges, interior mirror and vibrant red velvet ring rolls. The underside is marked in Korean and “MADE IN KOREA.” Korean markings appear to include the artisan name Oh Myeong-ho / 오명호. Approx. 5.5 L × 2.75 W × 2 H Weight: 10 oz Good vintage condition with light surface wear and fine scratches consistent with age. Please review photos for condition and markings.
