Antique Japanese Style Hand Painted Porcelain Bowl Cobalt Blue Orange Gold 8.5"

Beautiful antique/vintage hand-painted porcelain serving bowl featuring a striking Japanese-inspired design in cobalt blue, orange, white and gold. The bowl has an unusual deeply scalloped form with a dramatic cobalt blue fan-shaped accent along one side. The center features a stylized orange flower with cobalt blue foliage, surrounded by small hand-painted decorative motifs and gold accents. The color palette and decoration are reminiscent of early Japanese export porcelain and Imari/Nippon-style wares. Approximate Size: About 8½ across at the widest point. Markings: No maker's mark or country-of-origin mark found on the underside. Condition: Pre-owned antique/vintage condition with age-related wear. There is visible wear/loss to portions of the cobalt blue and gold decoration, particularly along the raised fan-shaped border, along with minor surface marks consistent with age and use. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition. No chips or cracks are noted from the photographs, but please verify before listing. A beautiful decorative piece for collectors of Japanese porcelain, Imari-style china, Asian décor, hand-painted porcelain and antique serving ware.
