Description
Vintage Asian-Inspired Foo Dog Hexagonal Lidded Decorative Box / Tea Caddy This vintage hexagonal lidded container features a detailed Foo Dog (Guardian Lion) finial, ornate relief panels, and a warm antique brass-tone finish. The decorative motifs give it a distinctive Asian-inspired appearance, making it an attractive accent piece for a variety of home décor styles. The container measures approximately 11 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide and weighs 2.12 pounds, giving it a substantial feel. It could be used as a decorative tea caddy, trinket box, potpourri container, or simply displayed as a unique collectible. The exact metal composition is unknown. It appears to be made of a brass-tone metal or metal alloy. The underside is stamped with the number 20, which appears to be a production or assembly mark rather than a maker's mark.
