Vtg Fenton Art Glass Hobnail Milk Glass Candle Bowl Farmhouse Cottagecore

This item is an Fenton Art Glass Hobnail Milk Glass Candle Bowl. Introduced by the Fenton Art Glass Company in 1948, this versatile mid-century centerpiece was a highly successful seller throughout the 1950s and 1960s. The Design: It features Fenton's signature raised, bumpy hobnail texture on the exterior, a smooth interior, and a distinct 16-point scalloped sawtooth rim. It sits elegantly on a low, pedestal bell foot. Interior Functions: The inside contains molded glass slots. It is primarily engineered as a multi-candle holder built to support five standard taper candles around the perimeter and one larger pillar or taper candle in the concentric rings at the direct center. Epergne Base Utility: Beyond holding standard candles, this specific dish was multi-functional. It was manufactured to pull double duty as a base for a Fenton epergne, meaning the inner wells can securely support glass flower frogs or removable horns (lily-shaped glass vases) to build cascading floral arrangements.
