Vintage Jaquet-Droz Swiss 17 Jewel Mechanical Pendant Watch Necklace As Is

Vintage Jaquet-Droz Swiss mechanical pendant watch with gold-tone geometric case and coordinating chain.  The watch features a silver-tone dial with applied hour markers and Jaquet-Droz branding. The movement is marked Swiss and 17 jewels.  Mechanical condition: the watch winds and will begin running, but only runs for a few seconds before stopping. It will need service, cleaning, or repair and is being sold as-is for restoration or collection.  Gold-tone case and chain show age-related wear, surface scratching, finish wear, and patina. No solid gold purity markings were found, so the metal is being described as gold-tone only.  Pendant watch measures approximately 1 inch across based on the ruler photos.
