Wayne Husted Stelvia Antiqua Large Blue Glass Apothecary Jar Italy 1960s

A large 1960s Italian glass apothecary jar from Stelvia's Antiqua line, designed by Wayne Husted. Deep blue glass, a heavily textured surface, applied loop details, and the smooth elongated lid give the piece its distinctive architectural form. This is the largest of three sizes produced and retains its original PeeDee Hand Made in Italy foil label.  Measurements: Approximately 18 tall with lid. Approximately 5 diameter  Very good vintage condition with light surface and base wear consistent with age. The original foil label shows wear. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed.
