Description
These authentic pieces are a rare slice of New York City history. Manufactured by the Victor Silver Company (a premium commercial division of International Silver), these heavy-duty hotel-plate forks were custom-ordered by the NYC Board of Education around the 1920s to 1940s. Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic aged patina and classic tarnish. The silver plating is remarkably well-preserved on the high-wear areas. No severe bending or damage. Left uncleaned to preserve the historic character. May have some marks but the age they look really good.
