This is a work by the former head craftsman of Aoki Lacquerware Shop, a traditional craft from Fukui Prefecture known as Wakasa-nuri. The shop is now closed but had a long history.
Due to long-term storage, there are some minor scratches and cloudy white areas on the back. (Please check the last two photos.)
I tried wiping the cloudy areas with a soft cloth, but it did not come off.
I am not an expert in crafts and do not want to damage the lacquer, so I will send it in its current condition.

*The yellow cloth wrapping the item is not in very good condition.
If you do not need the cloth, I can wrap the item, box, and printed materials with bubble wrap and send them to you.
