Bruce Fox banana leaf serving platter MCM
Wilton Armetale
140.00 $
Description
The signature on this item belongs to the mid-century metalware designer Bruce Fox. The piece is a vintage, mid-century modern cast aluminum banana leaf tray (often referenced as a palm frond platter). It was handmade in the United States using traditional metal-smithing and sand-casting techniques. This is a very large version of this serving platter at over 26” long. Still has the RWP Wilton Armetale sticker on it. Believed to be 60s based on number. Condition is very good with just light surface scratches consistent with age and use. This is food safe and usable, perfect for party apps!
