Description
Vintage set of two Jewish cookbooks offering a wealth of traditional recipes and culinary history. The first, 'The Art of Jewish Cooking' by Jennie Grossinger (1958/1962 Bantam edition), features hundreds of recipes from the famous Catskill resort, including soups, goulash, and baked delicacies. The second, 'The Jewish Gourmet Cookbook' by Pauline Frankel (1971 Nitty Gritty Productions), provides a more modern take on kosher dining with charming illustrations by Mike Nelson. These paperbacks show significant age-related wear, including yellowing pages, cover creasing, and some staining, making them perfect for those who appreciate the character of well-loved vintage kitchen references. Measurements: • The Art of Jewish Cooking: 7 x 4.25 • The Jewish Gourmet Cookbook: 5.25 x 8.25
