These are HATCH XTAK series knee pads featuring an X-shaped protection shell.
The shell material, TPU, is a polymer compound that combines the flexible elasticity of rubber with the toughness of hard plastic. It is fixed to the pad at three points above and below, bending flexibly with knee movement.
The inner surface that contacts the knee uses the new material Coolmax, which absorbs and evaporates sweat five times faster than cotton, maintaining comfortable body humidity and lowering body temperature.
The straps are made of spandex, which has several times the tensile strength of rubber and stretches better than rubber.
