A custom part to silence the loud DragonFly stove.
This is a silent cap (new) designed to solve the problem of loud combustion noise that plagues MSR DragonFly enthusiasts.
I use it myself, and with this one part, you can enjoy high heat output without worry, even on quiet camping mornings or nights.

• Smooth Storage: Unlike other brands (e.g., QuietStove), this one is designed to be more compact. The pot supports can be folded with it attached, eliminating the hassle of removing it every time you set up or pack up.
• Stable Simmering: It does not compromise the DragonFly's greatest strength, its flame adjustment. It burns stably even at extremely low heat.
• Also Compatible with XGK-EX: Highly versatile, it's a useful item to have.
[How to Use]
1. Installation: Remove the existing cover and simply place this product on top. It will be firmly fixed as it cools due to thermal expansion after combustion.
2. Removal: It can be removed while hot during re-combustion (be careful of burns).
[Tip for Ignition (Preheating)]
Due to the nature of the silencer, the trick is to preheat slightly longer than usual.
1. Preheat for a longer duration.
2. Once you hear a hissing sound, close the valve once, then open it again and ignite the top of the silencer.
*This is a common procedure for all silencers, and it becomes easy with practice.
[Using Kerosene]
Combustion with a kerosene jet has also been confirmed.
• Requires approximately twice the preheating time compared to gasoline.
• White and black smoke will appear until it warms up, but it will burn stably once heated (red flames may remain at the tip).
⚠️ Important Notes (Please Read Carefully)
• Only the silencer is for sale. The stove body and fuel tank shown in the photos are not included.
• There may be minor rust or scuffs from the manufacturing process, but they do not affect usability in any way.
• In the beginning, red flames may appear as impurities burn off, but it will settle to a clean blue flame after a few uses.
