Ornate Metal Jewelry Casket – Hand-Restored Velvet Interior

A beautifully ornate jewelry casket given a romantic new life. ✨  This substantial metal casket features an elaborate antiqued finish, raised scrollwork, decorative feet, and wonderful old-world character. The original interior had seen better days, so it has been completely relined by hand in dusty rose velvet, with a hand-tufted lid accented by smoky faceted stones. A removable velvet ring insert was created especially for the box, allowing it to be enjoyed two ways: keep the insert in to display rings, or remove it for a spacious compartment for brooches, bracelets, necklaces & other treasures. The aged exterior and patina have intentionally been preserved rather than refinished. Please expect signs of age, wear, and small imperfections throughout. The new interior is entirely handmade and may show subtle variations unique to its construction.  Please note: One side of the left hinge is missing. (visible in last pic) Despite this, the lid remains aligned, closes straight, and the casket is fully functional.
