Antique World War I U.S. Treasury Department Liberty Loan award medallion/token, issued in recognition of patriotic service supporting the Liberty Loan effort. The front features a detailed American eagle with wings spread beneath a government/Treasury building, surrounded by the words “VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN.” The reverse reads in part: “AWARDED BY THE U.S. TREASURY DEPARTMENT FOR PATRIOTIC SERVICE IN BEHALF OF THE LIBERTY LOAN” The outer inscription indicates the piece was “Made From Captured German Cannon.” Measurement: See Photo Please see all photos as they are considered part of the item description.
