Vintage Japan Fruit Condiment Jars Set of 2 Ceramic Wood Lids & Holder MCM

Charming vintage Japanese condiment or preserve jar set featuring two white ceramic jars displayed in their original-style wooden holder with coordinating wooden lids.  Each jar features colorful fruit artwork on both sides, giving the set four different fruit designs: Orange / Apple Purple Plum / Pear  The simple hand-drawn fruit illustrations paired with the warm wood have a wonderful retro kitchen look that works especially well with mid-century, cottage, farmhouse, or eclectic vintage décor.  Each wooden lid has a small notched opening along the edge, likely intended to accommodate a serving spoon. Spoons are not included.  The ceramic jars are marked JAPAN on the bottom.  Sold as one complete set consisting of: 2 ceramic condiment jars 2 wooden lids 1 wooden holding tray  Condition Good vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Ceramic jars appear to be in nice overall condition with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photos. Wooden lids and holder show expected surface wear, scratches, finish variation and signs of age/use. Some discoloration/wear is visible around the ceramic rims.
