Morris W-35 Made in Japan Vintage Vertical Logo Rare Sunburst Beautiful Sound
I am also listing this item elsewhere, so please comment to confirm stock before purchasing.
Believed to be from the 1970s. The dry, high-quality wood and thin plywood technology from this era produce a powerful and beautiful sound. The headstock features a vertical logo reminiscent of Martin's D-45, and this model is a unique piece with a sunburst body, which is rare for this series.
The following is based on amateur visual inspection.
While there are age-related scratches and rust, considering it's an instrument from about half a century ago, I believe it is in beautiful condition. There are no cracks on the top or bridge lifting, which are common issues with used instruments.
Playability is good, the neck is nearly straight, and the string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.8mm for the 6th string and 2.3mm for the 1st string, making it easy to play. Frets have about 70% remaining, and there is plenty of room on the saddle.
How about this as an entry-level instrument or for practice?
It will be shipped from the post office in the pictured soft case (please consider it as padding due to its used condition).
