Vintage Trillium Nightgown 1950's Blue Sheer Prairie Union Made Cottagecore Small ILGWU International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union Made Label RARE  RARE piece of American made history! Don't let this innocent little beauty fool you, she is a bit of a vixen! By the antique brand, Trillium, this nightdress is a 3/4 sleeve nightgown with embroidered flowers along the decolletage, as well as little strings to tie into a feminine bow. So soft and gauzy. The style is giving conservative vibes, as is the midi - longer length, but the material is extremely lightweight, see through, and flimsy.  Very faded but still visible ILGWU International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union label on the back of the tag. Founded in 1900 by seven local unions, the ILGWU played a key role in US labor history, representing the interests of the women's garment industry during a time of harsh working conditions, low wages, and long hours. The formation of the ILGWU provided a platform for working class women to come together, organize, and advocate for better treatment and fair labor standards!
