VINTAGE Life-Like HO Scale The Road Runner Train Set CP Rail Regional Mint Set

LIFE-LIKE THE ROAD RUNNER HO SCALE ELECTRIC TRAIN SET Rare Canadian Regional Variant — Factory Mint / Unused Condition! Up for sale/auction is a spectacular, beautifully preserved time capsule of model railroading history. This is a rare, documented regional Canadian factory variant of Life-Like’s classic The Road Runner set (Stock #08764). THE COLLECTOR'S HOLY GRAIL FACTORY CROSSOVER VARIANT: While the mass-market outer box art traditionally depicts a Canadian National (CN) train layout, this specific set is a 100% genuine factory-packed crossover variant. To fulfill a regional department store order, the factory packed a complete, perfectly matching CP Rail / Canadian Pacific fleet inside the standard CN box slots. For collectors of Canadian model railroading anomalies and factory-packaged oddities, finding this exact combination in completely pristine, untouched condition is an incredibly rare opportunity. ✨ ITEM CONDITION BREAKDOWN * Locomotive & Rolling Stock: MINT / FACTORY NEW (C-9/C-10). Flawless, glossy paint finishes with razor-sharp factory lettering. No scratches, smudges, or faded paint. All structural detail parts (horns, steps, and couplers) are 100% intact. The metal wheelsets and electrical pickups are perfectly clean, showing absolutely zero track wear or arcing. This set has never been run on a layout.
