This is a truly exquisite Ichimatsu doll.
I recall it was a gift from my husband's parents for our third son's first Hina Matsuri celebration (around 13 years ago).
I don't know the specific artist, but the kimono and obi are made of shibori silk! The under-kimono(?) is made of chirimen crepe.
Of course, the arms and legs are articulated, and the dendendai-ko drum has different designs on the front and back,
so I believe it is a meticulously crafted item.
Ichimatsu dolls have a wonderful, understated elegance that truly resonates with the Japanese spirit.
It was displayed for a little over 10 days around May 5th (Children's Day) and has been carefully stored since, making it a beautiful item in excellent condition.

Height when seated: 27 cm
Width from right hand to left hand: 18.5 cm
Dendendai-ko drum length: 15 cm
From the knot of the back obi to the tip of the front foot: 16 cm
