Description
Beautiful vintage dusty lavender/lilac woven fabric with scattered ivory slubs and flecks incorporated throughout the weave. Measures approximately 1 yard x 44” wide. Medium-weight fabric with a linen-like hand, subtle texture and nice body. The irregular ivory flecks/slubs appear to be characteristic of the woven yarn and give the otherwise solid lavender fabric a wonderful natural, slightly rustic texture. Fiber content is unmarked and has not been tested. Appears to be linen or a linen/cotton blend, but exact fiber content is unknown. A versatile piece for a vest, structured top, small skirt, bag, pillow, table linens, doll clothing, patchwork or other sewing projects. Likely 1980s–1990s vintage. Unmarked as to manufacturer.
