〈Showa Retro〉Tokyo Gas 4-in-1 Gas Brush - Gas Exhibition? Collection - Gas Stove Cleaning Tool
10.00 $
Description
This appears to be a promotional item from a Tokyo Gas exhibition. It was received around the mid-1960s. It seems to be a tool for cleaning gas stoves, but its exact purpose is unknown.
It's a 4-in-1 brush with a bristle brush, a steel brush, an awl, and one other tool (possibly for opening can lids?).
The awl-like pointed part (see 5th photo) is not extremely sharp. It extends when the metal fitting on the side is slid.
Dimensions are approximately 19.5 cm in length, 5.5 cm in width, and the pointed part is 2 cm.
It has been stored at home and used, so the bristles are bent. There are also some stains.
It is likely difficult to obtain these days. How about adding it to your collection?
