This offers a glimmer of hope in the darkness where the only solution for a broken electromagnetic pump, other than buying a used one, was to replace it with a new one costing nearly 8,000 yen. The success rate is surprisingly high, between 30% and 70%. If there are no internal breaks or shorts in the coil, electromagnetic pumps manufactured over 10 years ago can be perfectly repaired.

This part can repair pumps where: 1) The ball has worn down, causing a loose fit and weakening the pump's function.

For example, the discharge flow rate was improved from 342 ml/min to 631 ml/min, nearly doubling the performance. This improvement was achieved simply by replacing these two parts, restoring the pump to its original performance.

We mention this again as a precaution, as this part may not be effective in all cases.

Electromagnetic pumps can fail for various reasons. Check if the inner cylinder expands smoothly, and pay attention to the spring and ball, the most crucial moving parts. Don't forget the red coil part. I have repaired about 30 electromagnetic pumps, and 30-70% of them had degraded coil performance. If the coil doesn't work at all, it might be due to a break in the red coil part. In such cases, this repair part cannot revive the pump.

Many DIY enthusiasts lack experience and often assemble the springs incorrectly, either reversed or missing. Please be careful if you have purchased a used item. The ball should be placed on top of the spindle-shaped spring, and the head of the rectifier spring should be inserted upside down.
