Set of 2 Folding Fans
10.00 $
Description
Thank you for looking!
This is a set of two fans, one red and one blue, with the kanji 寿 (kotobuki, meaning longevity or congratulations) written on them.
When I searched for images, it came up as Japanese dance, but since it says 寿, I believe it was mainly used for celebrations of long life (like 60th, 70th, 77th, 80th, 88th birthdays, etc.).
These were found in my parents' dresser, so I don't know how often they were used or when they were purchased.
They don't show much sign of use, but since they are likely old, they are not in pristine, like-new condition.
Cases are not included.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
